2008 NFL Draft: Packers Trade Up in 4th Round

April 27, 2008 · No Comments

Green Bay sent a 4th round pick, #113 overall to the New York Jets for the #102 pick overall.  The Packers also shipped their 5th round pick to the Jets.

The Packers used the #102 pick to grab Wake Forest defensive end Jeremy Thompson.  We’ll have more on him tonight.

The Packers still have the #29 pick and the #36 pick (a compensatory draft pick that the NFL gives to teams who suffer overall losses in the previous year’s free agency), but for now they have no 5th or 6th round picks.
